  • You want to design your own data model from primitives. If your backend logic is unusual or you want full control over the schema from the ground up, composing it yourself on primitives can be the better fit than adopting pre-shaped blocks.

  • You're already deep in the Google Cloud ecosystem. If your team already runs on GCP, Firebase's integration with the rest of that stack is a real advantage.
